Hotel Description
Punta Rosa Boracay Resort
Punta
Rosa Boracay Resort is a boutique hotel that is very much identified and adored
for its tropical beach home design. The small hotel resort is located near
Boracay’s Boat Station 1 in the northern area of the island. The place is ideal
for vacationers who want peace and quietness as it is far enough from the busy
and noisy bars and activity centers. However, if you want to come and enjoy
those sites and party events, you should not fret. It would only take a few
minutes of walk from Punta Rosa before you reach the busy joints and activity
sites.
The
story behind the development of Punta Rosa Resort is interesting. Originally,
the resort was constructed to become a private home for family gatherings and
vacations. The owner is a property businessman who kept the construction and
development of the place secret from his family within six months. The resort
center was a surprising gift he hade for his family. More surprising is how it
evolved into one of the sought-after hotel resorts in the tourist island.
The
accommodations are enough to provide guests with more choices. There are 12
luxury rooms. Out of those, five are suites, 3 are superior rooms and 4 are
deluxe. Each room has its own terrace so that guests could always take a glimpse
of the breath taking scene covering the Boracay shores. Rooms are strategically
located and built in a six-storey hotel resort building.
Amenities are good enough to impress. The rooms each have comfort rooms and
bathrooms with hot and cold rain and head showers. Aside from the verandas
facing the beach, Punta Rosa Boracay also has a beautiful sunset deck that has a
built-in bar and restaurant for maximum enjoyment. A business center is ideal
for business purposes like meetings and small conferences.
Services available are most useful. Aside from the international enabled
telephone lines, there is Wi-Fi Internet access provided in the premises. There
is an all round security service and a 24-hour generator on standby. Currency
exchange services are available if you need to convert your money into local
denomination.
Add-on services are good like babysitting, laundry and dry cleaning. House
assistance can be requested upon need. You can also rent the resort’s vehicles
and hire a driver so you could tour the whole of the island on car. Concierge
services for assistance to airport and hotel bookings and accommodations are
also facilitated.
There is a resident chef
to cook meals upon orders. Breakfasts are served automatically. Dishes served in
the menu include local cuisines like adobo and inihaw as well as
international favorites like feta cheese omelets and seafood delights. As
mentioned, meals are served on the bar and resto at the rooftop, overlooking the
beach to add to the sumptuousness of food.

By Plane via CATICLAN
The fastest way to Boracay is to fly Manila- Caticlan Airport on Panay Island. Airlines like SEAIR, ZEST AIRWAYS, CEBU PACIFIC, AIR PHILIPPINES and PHILIPPNE AIRLINES flies to Caticlan daily. Flight time Manila – Caticlan ranges from 35- 50 minutes.
Once you get to Caticlan, you need to take a ferry or banca to reach the island. Because Caticlan is very near the port, it will only take about ten minutes to get there.
By Plane via KALIBO
PHILIPPINE AIRLINES and CEBU PACIFIC also fly to Kalibo, which is 1 ½ hours bus from Caticlan. Flight time Manila- Kalibo takes 50 minutes. From Cebu City, the fight takes about the same
If you booked the flight to Kalibo you will have to take a bus ride (about 90 minutes to a couple of hours), to get to Caticlan and the port. In any event, once at the port, the ferry or banca ride will take about twenty minutes.
By Ferry ( Manila- Caticlan)
For those who are on a budget travel, you can take the ferry boat from Manila to Dumaguit. Dumaguit is situated on the northern side of Panay.
First you have to drive to North Harbor in Manila where the ferries to Dumaguit are stationed. Once you arrive at Dumaguit you have to go to Caticlan. This can be done either by bus, or if you like, the jeepney.
Another way to get to Boracay from Manila is to take the following route: first you take a bus ride going from Manila all the way to Batangas. From there you will board the ferry that transports you to Tablas in Romblon. From the port of Odiongan, you can take a jeepney to another port (either Santa Fe or Looc) and get a banca to Boracay Island. |
