Discovery Shores Boracay
In
the northern part of the Boracay island, near the Boat Station 1, could be found
another Class AAA beach resort. The Discovery Shores Boracay is just another one of the
many
luxury beach resorts to be built Boracay island. Boracay Philippines has become popular the world
over for its powdery white soft white sand beach that stretches over 4
kilometers long.
Discovery Shores Boracay Resort is nothing but an oasis on this tropical island. Vacationers and
travelers to Boracay certainly find serenity, tranquility and coziness, all shored up in
the fantastic interiors and exteriors of the Discovery Shores Boracay Hotel.
Since the Discovery Shores Boracay Beach Resort is a luxury hotel, you can
expect the services and amenities are five-star quality, and the personnel are warm
and cordial, adding to the delight of staying here.
Discovery
Shores Boracay accommodations fit in the 88 luxurious suites and guestrooms. All units have
been distinctly and aesthetically designed by renowned local designers at Budji
Layug + Royal Pineda. The rooms include studio-type, single-bed and double-bed
suites and rooms. For singles and couples, the junior suites are most ideal
because there are beds fit for two and enough space for the belongings the
entertainment system and private bathrooms and mini bars. Each room is furnished
and equipped with the best and most functional appliances and fixtures, making
the rooms very useful and comfortable to stay at.
The
amenities are just irresistible. The suites and some of the rooms have balconies
and outdoor-oriented Jacuzzis so guests could very well feed their eyes with
beauteous and panoramic views of the beach. Aside from access to the pristine
beach and of course, the golden sunset each day, Discovery Shores Boracay Resort
installed all rooms with satellite cable television sets, mini bars and
luxurious bathrooms, with flowing hot and cold water. The interiors of each room
are exquisite and are distinct, making guests really stick to Discovery. That is
on top of the excellent cleanliness and maintenance.
Discovery Shores Boracay rooms come with complimentary breakfasts, an all-day room
service and Wi-Fi Internet connections. Aside from the panoramic beachfront, the
hotel resort also offers a functional multi-purpose function hall for small
meetings, intimate weddings and other events the guests may prefer to hold at
Discovery Shores Boracay. There is even a swimming pool for quick and night swimming.
As
for the concierge services at Discovery Shores Boracay Resort, there are personnel who would readily and cordially
assist guests regarding airport transfer transactions and parcel or postal
services. A 24-hour security is guaranteed along with uninterrupted power
supply. Telephone lines are able to facilitate domestic and international
dialing calls. Guests can also avail of the facilities and equipment for fun
beach and sea activities like windsurfing, parasailing, scuba diving,
waterskiing and snorkeling.
Discovery Shores Boracay offers
fine dining and sumptuous meals through its in-house Sands Restaurant. Aside
from the culinary appeal, the resto is boastful of the beautiful view of the
sea, as can be seen at the dining tables. Buffet meals are provided, with the
enviable tradition of crafted dishes, fine service and refreshing beverages. A
Pool Bar is also present, where guests can hangout, read and sip the most
refreshing drinks and even coffee and tea.

By Plane via CATICLAN
The fastest way to Boracay is to fly Manila- Caticlan Airport on Panay Island. Airlines like SEAIR, ZEST AIRWAYS, CEBU PACIFIC, AIR PHILIPPINES and PHILIPPNE AIRLINES flies to Caticlan daily. Flight time Manila – Caticlan ranges from 35- 50 minutes.
Once you get to Caticlan, you need to take a ferry or banca to reach the island. Because Caticlan is very near the port, it will only take about ten minutes to get there.
By Plane via KALIBO
PHILIPPINE AIRLINES and CEBU PACIFIC also fly to Kalibo, which is 1 ½ hours bus from Caticlan. Flight time Manila- Kalibo takes 50 minutes. From Cebu City, the fight takes about the same
If you booked the flight to Kalibo you will have to take a bus ride (about 90 minutes to a couple of hours), to get to Caticlan and the port. In any event, once at the port, the ferry or banca ride will take about twenty minutes.
By Ferry ( Manila- Caticlan)
For those who are on a budget travel, you can take the ferry boat from Manila to Dumaguit. Dumaguit is situated on the northern side of Panay.
First you have to drive to North Harbor in Manila where the ferries to Dumaguit are stationed. Once you arrive at Dumaguit you have to go to Caticlan. This can be done either by bus, or if you like, the jeepney.
Another way to get to Boracay from Manila is to take the following route: first you take a bus ride going from Manila all the way to Batangas. From there you will board the ferry that transports you to Tablas in Romblon. From the port of Odiongan, you can take a jeepney to another port (either Santa Fe or Looc) and get a banca to Boracay Island. |

Cancellation Policy:
Once you have paid for your reservation, the following cancellation policy applies:
- If you cancel the reservation 72 hours before your intended arrival date, we will refund you the total amount that you paid for your reservation, minus the amount of
25.00 DOLLAR for administration fees.
- If you cancel the reservation within 72 hours or less of the date of arrival, we will refund you the total amount that you paid for the reservation, minus the amount of the first night of your intended stay for no-show charges.
We will not make refunds to credit cards, other than the credit card that was used for your booking. We may process refunds via wire transfer, in which case we will deduct any bank charges from the refundable amount. We aim to process refunds within 72 hours after receiving your refund request and required information.
Payment Policy:
The hotel reservations require prepayment. Your credit card will be debited within 24 hours after making your reservation. The charge will be in
DOLLAR currency and your bill will state:
WOW Philippines Travel Agency, Inc. The total charge includes all room charges and taxes, as well as fees for access and booking. Any incidental charges such as parking, phone calls and room service will be handled directly between you and the property. Bed type and smoking preferences are not guaranteed. Your reservation is guaranteed for late arrival.
Accommodation is usually available from 16:00hrs on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00hrs on the day of departure. The number of guests in each room is limited to the number of beds provided by the hotel.
If the number of persons arriving at the hotel is different to the one selected during the reservation process, or children are not of the age required to classify as such in terms of rates/discounts (see "Children Policy"), additional charges will apply, payable directly to the hotel.
Child Policy:
Infants up to 1 year 11 months: free of charge.
Children rates will be confirmed during the online reservation process.
Children rates apply for ages 2 - 11 years, and only when sharing room with two adults.
Children 2-11 years sharing room with 1 adult must be booked as adults (double/twin room).
Children 12 years and older must always be booked as adults.
