ANGOL
POINT
Start Depth:
5 meters
Maximum Depth: 12 meters
Rating: 3 Star
This is an excellent diving site in Boracay
for beginners and training dives. The reef
is covered with many stony corals, leather
corals, nudibranchs, anemones, sea stars and
sea cucumbers. Here you can also enjoy night
dives and is a excellent location for macro
photography.
BALINGHAI
Start Depth:
8 meters
Maximum Depth: 40 meters
Rating: 3 Star
Balinghai offers two walls that run parallel
to each other. The deep wall features many
sharks and tuna while the shallow wall is
covered with small holes which house anthias,
lionfish, triggerfish, banner-fish, puffers
and gobies, this Boracay dive spot offers
excellent underwater scenery.
BAT CAVE
Start Depth:
Maximum Depth: 6 meters
Rating: 3 Star
This Boracay dive site area is a series of
small caves, each leading to the actual
Bat Cave which is also accessible by
land. Conditions need to be just right to
dive here, since heavy waves usually slam
against the rocks and the swift currents can
take you offshore. Here you can expect to
see, lobsters and sea snakes and overhead
you will see the large Fruit Bats or Flying
Foxes.
BEACH NIGHT
DIVE

Maximum Depth: 5 meters
Rating: 3 Star
The "BEACH" is a little-known treasure trove
for divers with a sharp eye. It is a sandy
area with patches of sea grass and hard
corals. Watch out for flounders, crabs,
nudibranchs, squid and pipefish.
CAMIA
Start Depth:
18 meters
Maximum Depth: 30 meters
Rating: 4 Star
The "Camia" is Boracay Islands "Ship Wreck",
a 30 meter-long cargo boat that was sunk as
an attraction in January 2001. It has since
developed very nicely as an artificial reef.
The residents now include a couple of huge
red bass, some bluefin trevallies, scorpion
fish and a school of batfish.
CHANNEL DRIFT
Start Depth:
10 meters
Maximum Depth: 35 meters
Rating: 4 Star
Here you will experience strong tidal
currents that flow through the Tabon Strait,
taking divers on a wonderful joy ride
through canyons and crevices. The coral
growth here is very impressive and
occasionally seen are some white tip sharks
and trevallies.
CORAL GARDEN
Start Depth:
5 meters
Maximum Depth: 12 meters
Rating: 3 Star
This diving site is right off the main
Boracay White Beach and usually has calm and
clear conditions, and is ideal for beginners
and training dives. Coral Garden Dive Site
is a popular fish-feeding area, so expect to
see sergeant majors, butterfly-fish and
batfish crowding around.
SPECIAL NOTE:
This is also an excellent area off Boracay
Beach for snorkeling.
CROCODILE
ISLAND

Maximum Depth: 20 meters
Rating: 5 Star
Crocodile Island is a small uninhabited
island that is shaped similar to the head of
a crocodile. Currents here can be quite
fierce with a beautiful collection of
corals. Here you will find a gently sloping
wall with several canyons and caves
containing a wide variety of fish.
LAGUNA DE
BORACAY

Maximum Depth: 20 meters
Rating: 4 Star
This Boracay Diving site is located on the
backside or southeastern side of Boracay
Island. It is well-suited for either
beginners or professionals, with a vast
diversity of clams, anemones, feather stars,
butterfly-fish, lionfish and sea squirts.
The area is quite large, and almost every
inch is covered with hard and soft corals.
LAUREL ISLAND
Start Depth:
5 meters
Maximum Depth: 20 meters
Rating: 5 Star
Big Laurel and Small
Laurel are two separate dive sites
which are very similar and quite close to
each other. Big Laurel has a swim-through
tunnel that is filled with many soft corals
and nudi-branchs. Big Laurel and Small
Laurel are both sloping walls with a healthy
amount of corals and prolific fish life.
FRIDAY’S ROCK
Start Depth:
7 meters
Maximum Depth: 18 meters
Rating: 4 Star
Friday's Dive Site, can actually cover two
dive sites: Friday’s Reef
which is 7 to 12 meters, and Friday’s
Rock which is 12 to 18 meters. This
famous fish-feeding station with a large
boulder that provides photographers a chance
to capture close-up shots of emperors,
triggerfish, red bass, scorpion fish and
surgeons.
PUNTA BUNGA
Start Depth:
9 meters
Maximum Depth: 24 meters
Rating: 3 Star
Punta Bunga Boracay diving site is the start
of a series of walls which connect to
Yapak. The drop-off is filled with
cubbyholes where moray eels, lionfish,
groupers and triggerfish reside. Stingrays
are usually seen on the sandy bottom at 24
meters. This is an excellent dive choice for
Boracay.
TULOBHAN REEF
Start Depth:
5 meters
Maximum Depth: 20 meters
Rating: 4 Star
Although quite shallow, a slow steady
current usually allows drift diving to cover
a wide area. Sea snakes are a common site,
while sea cucumbers, eels and feather stars
can be seen waving in the current.
VIRGIN DROP
Start Depth:
18 meters
Maximum Depth: 35 meters
Rating: 3 Star
This wall dive is ideal for deep dive
training. Large sea fans and crinoids
provide colorful hiding spots for bass,
moray eels and nudi-branchs. Sting Rays are
sometimes seen gliding through the thermo
clines during tidal changes.
YAPAK
Start Depth:
30 meters
Maximum Depth: 40 meters
Rating: 5 Star
Yapak 1 and 2 are actually two separate
walls which begin at 30 meters and drop down
to 70 meters. The most famous of Boracay
Islands dive sites, close encounters with
white tip and grey reef sharks, dogtooth
tuna, groupers, napoleon wrasses and giant
trevallies are common. Surface conditions
here can be rough, and therefore a negative
entry is often required, followed by a
spectacular blue-water descent.
